Life Lately

The past few weeks have been full of excitement. If you’ve taken a peek at my website, you may have seen that I finally have my book cover design. I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to hold a physical copy in my hands. It’s very close to what I always envisioned, and I hope you’ll love it too.

I’m still looking for ARC readers to review my book. If you’re interested in receiving a free copy and are happy to leave an honest review, you can apply through my website. ARCs will be available toward the end of December.

Another bit of wonderful news: my website is fully up and running. I’ve tried to make it easy to navigate and filled it with lots to explore. Huge thanks to my social media manager, Tai Williams, for bringing it to life with such care and creativity.

Newsletter subscribers will find a hidden chapter from my book waiting for them, as well as character spin-off short stories every few months. I want this to be a fun, rewarding space for readers, so if you have ideas for things you’d like to see, please reach out.

One more big milestone: I’ve now found my editor and will be sending off the final draft of The Raeven and the Prince of Shadows at the end of November. I’m nervous in the best possible way. If everything goes to plan, the book will be ready for publication in February/March… so keep your eyes open for updates.

And because I don’t want readers waiting ages for the next chapter of the story, I’ll be starting Book 2 in The Shattered Court Series this December, with the aim of publishing it shortly after Book 1.

It’s been quite a whirlwind. A year ago, when I stepped away from nursing, I never imagined I’d be this close to achieving a lifelong dream. There has been so much to learn, and I know there’s more still to come, but every moment has been worth it. If you have a dream tugging at you too… go after it. See where it takes you.
